Corwin Construction business owner David Corwin has thrown family and church out the window. After the death of his wife Jen, he becomes cold hearted towards the things of God, despite his sons position in ministry. As time goes on, the bills pile, the pressure mounts, and David is left grieving the death of his wife and searching for the ultimate answer...why?

IN REAL LIFE: Rob Reisman is a deacon at Niagara Frontier Bible Church and serves in the Awana ministry as a leader. He is the father of 7 boys and lives with his family in Youngstown, NY.

Steven is the Christian son of David Corwin and Director of Media Production at his local church, using his talents for the Lord. At home however, he is left with a broken family. As he watches his father cope with his mothers death, he struggles to figure out how he can help. In talking with his best friend Maggie, Steven realizes he must be the Christian example for his father, no matter what his attitude toward it might be.

IN REAL LIFE: Eric Stevenson is a stage actor from Houghton, NY. After shooting Eric left for Korea to teach english for a year and is now back in the states touring with his band Pocket Vinyl.

John Corwin (DAVID GIFFORD) - John is David's father and is retired living at home, working in his workshop on occasion. John attempted to bring up David in the ways of the Lord but rebellion on David's part led to failure. John rarely sees his son, and phone calls are slim to none. Being one of the people who understands David's attitude the best, John tries to strengthen Steven's heart with truth.

IN REAL LIFE: Dave Gifford was chairman of the deacons at his local church and chairperson for the building committee for 5 years. He is currently a village board member of Youngstown, NY.

Maggie has been Steven's best friend since they were kids. She now goes to college full-time and serves in the Drama ministry at her local church. Maggie attempts to give advice, and help Steven cope with his fathers actions in the home as well as be a shoulder to lean on when things get tough.


IN REAL LIFE: Maggie Whitton is a 2009 High School Graduate and plans to go to college for Music or Drama/Arts. She also serves at her church in the Drama ministry.

Shawn is David's right hand man on the job site, and has been friends with David and his family since Corwin Construction began. Although much younger, Shawn has a close friendship with David and cares for his well being. With David becoming more disconnected and run down as time goes on, Shawn tries to figure out ways to help Davids situation.

IN REAL LIFE: Aaron Slack is a regular attendee at Niagara Frontier Bible Church and is a history teacher at Starpoint Central School District.

Jen is David's wife and the strong Christian in the home. Her and David have slowly grown apart because of their conflicting views over God and the church. After an argument one night, Jen goes for a drive to clear her head and is killed by a drunk driver. Although gone, she is never forgotten, especially by David who heavily grieves over her sudden death. The Christian values she lived by live on in her son Steven, who is now attempting to reach his father with the truth.

IN REAL LIFE: Deb Prohaska serves are her local church teaching Sunday School, serving on staff at Awana, and leading Ladies Bible Study. She is also involved in the Niagara Gospel Rescue Mission, reaching those lost for Christ.

Pastor Billy is the pastor at David and Steven's local church.

He helps David make sense of his tough situation and understand the possible reason behind his wife's death, and what David can learn from it.

IN REAL LIFE: Billy Crone serves as Pastor at Niagara Frontier Bible Church in Lewiston, NY.

Sarah is a single mother with some damage to her roof. When confronting Dave as a client, she is turned away coldly and overcharged on her assessment.

With her completely helpless to fix her problem, God brings her an answer in the most peculiar way.

IN REAL LIFE: Joan Golda is a singer, wife and mother of two grown children. She holds an A.A. in musical theatre and a B.S. in performance and multimedia from SUNY Empire State. She is a member of NFBC and sings with its worship team as well as being involved with VBS, drama and teen ministries. Over the years she has sung with local bands and worked in both little theatre and semi-professional theatre behind and in front of the scene. She is employed as the MIS for a law firm in Buffalo, New York.
